"Patara Life" is named after the famed "Patara Beach" (also known as Cleopatra beach) which is the longest beach in Turkey. It was named after Patarus, son of Apollo in ancient Lycian times and housed a famous temple and the lost Oracle of Apollo.
Patara Beach these days is a protected and natural sanctuary for the "loggerhead" turtles who continue to nest along this beautiful coastline. The ancient city of Patara and the magnificent amphitheatre can still be visited today.
"Patara Life" brand was born from the vision of Didem Brennan, a Turkish / Australian, who's passion for her homeland's textiles, design and craftsmanship was teamed up with her desire to bring together a carefully curated and ethically made range for the Australian beach and coastal lifestyle.
"Patara Life" collaborates with up and coming Turkish designers and small family run manufacturers to create the essence of beauty and style in a selection of premium beach garments, towels and accessories.
